ROTH ID TAG™ Attends the 2025 Ohio Traffic Safety Summit
Our team was proud to participate in the 2025 Ohio Traffic Safety Summit held in Columbus, Ohio. The event brought together professionals from across the state, including law enforcement officers, public health advocates, educators, engineers, and other traffic safety leaders — all united by a shared mission: to improve safety on Ohio’s roadways.
Throughout the two-day summit, our team attended multiple breakout sessions and keynote presentations that focused on the latest research, technologies, and initiatives designed to reduce traffic-related injuries and fatalities. Sessions covered everything from pedestrian and bicycle safety to impaired driving prevention and youth-focused education programs. We left inspired by the progress being made and energized to contribute in a meaningful way.
In addition to learning, we were also there to share. The ROTH ID TAG™ team was there to introduce attendees to the importance of emergency ID tags — especially for children, individuals with medical conditions, or anyone who may not be able to communicate vital information in a crisis.
Our tags are designed to make emergency contact and medical details accessible on the spot — no technology required. For first responders and traffic safety professionals, quick access can mean faster decisions, better care, and potentially life-saving outcomes. The ROTH ID TAG™ was designed with these moments in mind.
We were thrilled to engage with so many passionate professionals who immediately saw the value of integrating emergency identification into their outreach and safety programs. Many shared personal stories of how critical moments in the field could have benefited from having a simple tool like the ROTH ID TAG™.
Beyond the booth, the Ohio Traffic Safety Summit offered a valuable space to network, collaborate, and explore future partnerships. We connected with safety advocates from Ohio’s Safe Communities Network, trauma nurses, traffic engineers, school-based educators, and local law enforcement officers — all of whom are working hard to make their communities safer.
A heartfelt thank-you to the Ohio Department of Public Safety and the Ohio Traffic Safety Office for hosting such a well-organized, impactful event. We’re grateful for the opportunity to be part of this important dialogue and to introduce more people to the life-saving potential of the ROTH ID TAG™.
Together, we can help make every emergency a little less chaotic, and every roadway a little safer.

The ROTH ID TAG was created after tragedy struck our own family.
On December 23, 2022, Julie Roth, beloved wife and mother, was traveling with her two small children when they were caught up in a 47+ vehicle pile-up on the Ohio Turnpike. Julie and Edna Rose, the baby she was carrying, did not survive, but her two other children did.
Injured and afraid, Julie’s two toddlers waited many hours to see a familiar face while emergency responders worked to identify them and contact their father, who was at work. Thankfully, Ayla and Rory Roth are alive and well today. They are the true reason for the ROTH ID TAG™ creation.
