ROTH ID TAG had the pleasure of attending the SAFE KIDS NC Conference in Cherokee, NC. This year’s conference, hosted from May 4th-7th, provided attendees the opportunity to learn about the latest in community risk reduction and injury prevention, with the option to earn all six CEU’s needed for Child Passenger Safety (CPS) recertification!
We were so excited to get to talk with some of the wonderful faces behind our 40, (and counting!), North Carolina Community Partners, as well as chat with some of our favorite car seat manufacturers! In attendance were injury prevention coordinators, SAFE KIDS NC coordinators and coalition members, law enforcement, emergency medical personnel, firefighters, health care professionals, and anyone who works to assist in preventing childhood injuries.
Sharing the mission behind ROTH ID TAG
As a vendor of the 2026 SAFE KIDS Conference, we got the opportunity to get on stage and give an introduction of ROTH ID TAG and our products, for those who couldn’t make it by our booth! As a growing company, we jumped at the opportunity to make sure we are expanding awareness and sharing our mission, as widely as possible! Being surrounded by so many people who are passionate about child passenger safety made this conference especially meaningful for our team. Getting the chance to connect with advocates, educators, and technicians who care so deeply about keeping children safe reminded us exactly why we do what we do.
What is SAFE KIDS?
Safe Kids Worldwide is a global non-profit whose mission is protecting kids from preventable injuries such as traffic injuries, drownings, sleep-related deaths, falls, burns, poisonings, and more, which is the number one cause of death to children in the United States. Through over 400 network members, they are educating families, raising awareness, create safer environments, and advocating for improved laws to protect children. Since 1988, Safe Kids and its partners have contributed to a more than 60 percent reduction in the rate of fatal childhood preventable injury in the U.S.
Find Your Coalition
The partners of Safe Kids Worldwide are in 6 continents, 30 countries, with 400 coalitions throughout the United States alone! A huge thank you to NC SAFE KIDS and The North Carolina Office of State Fire Marshal for hosting! We’re so grateful for the opportunity to be part of this event and to introduce more people to this critical tool, that will help keep families connected when it matters most.

Order Today
The ROTH ID TAG was created after tragedy struck our own family.
On December 23, 2022, Julie Roth, beloved wife and mother, was traveling with her two small children when they were caught up in a 47+ vehicle pile-up on the Ohio Turnpike. Julie and Edna Rose, the baby she was carrying, did not survive, but her two other children did.
Injured and afraid, Julie’s two toddlers waited many hours to see a familiar face while emergency responders worked to identify them and contact their father, who was at work. Thankfully, Ayla and Rory Roth are alive and well today. They are the true reason for the ROTH ID TAG creation.
