Lodi Ag Fair Champions Child Safety with ROTH ID TAG™
ROTH ID TAG is proud to partner with organizations like the Lodi Ag Fair that put families and safety first. Together, we can spread awareness and ensure every child is protected in case of emergency.
The Lodi Agricultural Fair, held July 9–13, 2025 in Lodi, Wisconsin, is more than just rides, livestock, and fun. It is a community tradition built on volunteer spirit and shared values. This year, the fair board brought an extra layer of safety to families attending the fair with ROTH ID TAG™.
When one board member first introduced the idea of ROTH ID TAGs, an emergency identification tag that attaches to car seats, the response was immediate: ‘Yes, yes, yes!’ The fair board, which is 100% volunteer-led and nonprofit, saw the connection right away between their community focused mission and the lifesaving potential of these simple tools.
ROTH ID TAGs are designed to give first responders critical information in the event of a crash, when a child may be too young to communicate or separated from their caregiver. The tags include details like the child’s name, emergency contacts, and medical needs—helping first responders act quickly in urgent situations.

Before the fair, board members shared the tags with local first responders. Their reaction was just as enthusiastic: “‘This. Is. Awesome.’ They said, ‘We need to get this out!’”
Thanks to generous sponsors, the Lodi Ag Fair handed out 500 ROTH ID TAGs to local families throughout the week. Each tag represents peace of mind, a stronger safety net, and the power of community collaboration.
Taking their support one step further, the fair board also helped bring ROTH ID TAGs into the local Piggly Wiggly, making them available beyond the fairgrounds. The store also offers a “round up” option at checkout, giving shoppers the chance to support ROTH ID TAG’s mission with every purchase.
What is the ROTH ID TAG?
The ROTH ID TAG is a Universal Emergency Contact Identification System. A simple yet powerful tool that makes emergency contact information available in seconds when it matters most. Designed to attach to car seats, strollers, walkers, or any personal device, it ensures that emergency responders or good Samaritans can quickly contact a child’s caregiver in case of an accident or emergency.
ROTH ID TAG works with community entities to Keep Families Connected in Emergency Situations
We have joined forces with the Julie Roth Memorial Foundation to make ROTH ID TAG Systems available to the public through partnerships with government agencies, educators, CPSTs, hospitals / medical professionals, non-profit foundations, and more. We provide registered agencies and organizations with bulk discount pricing on ROTH ID TAG systems along with training resources to raise awareness of the need for everyone to make their emergency contact information available.

The ROTH ID TAG was created after tragedy struck our own family.
On December 23, 2022, Julie Roth, beloved wife and mother, was traveling with her two small children when they were caught up in a 47+ vehicle pile-up on the Ohio Turnpike. Julie and Edna Rose, the baby she was carrying, did not survive, but her two other children did.
Injured and afraid, Julie’s two toddlers waited many hours to see a familiar face while emergency responders worked to identify them and contact their father, who was at work. Thankfully, Ayla and Rory Roth are alive and well today. They are the true reason for the ROTH ID TAG creation.
