Connecting with leaders and community partners to advance child safety.
Attending and exhibiting at PrevCon 2025 in the Washington DC area was a fantastic experience for ROTH ID TAG. PrevCon is one of the largest gatherings of safety professionals in the world dedicated solely to unintentional childhood injury prevention. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this event was the perfect gathering of passionate professionals who share a mission of keeping children safe.
Being on the exhibitor floor offered our team a unique opportunity. We connected with industry leaders from nonprofit coalitions to safety-product manufacturers. We heard from folks working on national programs and community partners. For ROTH ID TAG, these conversations were invaluable: we learned first-hand about emerging needs, forged new partnerships, and reaffirmed that our product mission is aligned with broader public-health and safety goals.
One of the highlights was meeting the many community-based organizations and local safety coalitions who serve children in schools, recreation centers, health systems and nonprofit networks. These Community Partners bring real-world insight: what they need, how they deploy safety tools, and how they communicate with families. Through these interactions our team gained a deeper understanding of how our product fits into the larger ecosystem of childhood injury prevention.
We also took part in several of PrevCon’s sessions and workshops full of fresh ideas on prevention strategies, design-thinking for safety interventions, and measurement of impact. It reinforced the fact that innovation isn’t just about a product, it’s about how that product is adopted, communicated, and sustained.
Looking ahead, ROTH ID TAG is already mapping next steps from what we learned. We’re strengthening our outreach to local safety coalitions, refining our messaging to meet their contexts, and exploring joint pilot programs with community partners we met at the show. Exhibiting at PrevCon was an investment in relationships, mission alignment, and impact.
If your organization serves children’s safety, attending PrevCon is a must. For ROTH ID TAG, the event was a perfect convergence of mission, people, and opportunity. We left inspired, connected, and ready to make our next chapter even stronger.
We look forward to seeing everyone at the next PrevCon!

The ROTH ID TAG was created after tragedy struck our own family.
On December 23, 2022, Julie Roth, beloved wife and mother, was traveling with her two small children when they were caught up in a 47+ vehicle pile-up on the Ohio Turnpike. Julie and Edna Rose, the baby she was carrying, did not survive, but her two other children did.
Injured and afraid, Julie’s two toddlers waited many hours to see a familiar face while emergency responders worked to identify them and contact their father, who was at work. Thankfully, Ayla and Rory Roth are alive and well today. They are the true reason for the ROTH ID TAG creation.
