Roth ID Tag™ Identification System Achieves Patent-Pending Status

MOORESVILLE, North Carolina, November 17, 2023—The tragic loss of a pregnant mother of two changes how emergency situations are handled, with the invention of the Roth ID Tag™.

The patent application for the Roth ID Tag™ Identification System has filed with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Securing a patent for the Roth ID Tag will ensure quality control and consistency in manufacturing. With the goal of a universal identification system, both of these qualities are vital to ensure a dependable system for quick identification and contact information in chaotic emergency situations.

“As a first responder and CPST (Child Passenger Safety Technician) with over 14 years experience, I can recall countless situations where the Roth ID Tag would have made the scenario more manageable. From vehicle accidents to individuals with disabilities, the Roth ID Tag will revolutionize the Fire and EMS industry. As unfortunate and unfair as it is, from tragedy comes evolution. The Roth ID tag is a silver lining to the Roth family.”

Captain Wilhelm BFD, Bellevue Fire Dept.

The Roth ID Tag™ is an information tag that can be affixed to carseats and other products, such as wheelchairs, to be used in emergencies to quickly identify and contact the designated emergency contact person or persons listed. The process is as simple as filling out the information and affixing the tag, which comes with adhesive strips, to the carseat or product. In the event of emergency, first responders will be able to detach the removable strip and use it as a wristband. With this simple act, the identity of the person, the emergency contact information and any pertinent emergency information is readily available to all medical personal taking care of them from that point forward.

The Roth ID Tag™ was created to give purpose to tragedy, along with the Julie Roth Memorial Foundation. The Julie Roth Memorial Foundation’s mission is “No More Doe Babies”.  After a fatal car accident, and hours of trying to locate two young children who were alone and injured, the need for an identification system to prevent the fear and chaos of identifying and locating family members, especially children, in emergencies was made clear. To learn more about the Julie Roth Memorial Foundation and to donate, please visit julierothmemorialfoundation.org.
