The ROTH ID TAG™ is safe to use on all car seats! Emergency contact tags are allowed, as they do not at all impact the safety function of the seat. Be sure to not cover any manufacturer warning labels.

Once the ROTH ID TAG ™ is applied, it cannot be moved. You can go online at any time to get a new tag, and dispose of your old tag. Parents who have registered on our site are able to order a low-cost replacement when they need a new tag!

Registering online is an optional added layer of security. Since first responders have everything they need written on the tag, the database is to help us keep in touch with parents. You’ll receive emails from us periodically making sure your tags are still up to date, along with product advancements and with new product announcements. If you don’t want to utilize the online database, fill out the written areas and cross out the QR code with an X and you’re all set.

We have consulted with child passenger safety technicians and learned first responders always attempt to recover child passengers in their carseats. If that is not possible, they still retrieve the seat after removing the child. For that reason, First Responders will be able to find the ROTH ID TAG™.  To be sure, we have included an additional signal tag with every ROTH ID TAG™ Kit, that can be placed in a more visible place on the car seat should your ROTH ID TAG need to go on the back or bottom of the seat.

Yes! We ship globally on our website. Unfortunately we can’t control the cost of international shipping. We have had many families group up and order together to divide up the cost though!

Use the additional info line to say “multi-child seat” and make sure the emergency contacts you choose are able to identify the different children.

For backless booster seats, apply the tag to the bottom. Then place the signal tag (included in the kit) on the cup holder or armrest.

ROTH ID TAG™ can be applied to almost anything. While we started with a goal of having emergency identifying information on car seats, our tags can be applied to strollers, bicycles, helmets, UTV’s, and more. We also offer additional products with online registration including wrist bands, key chains, decals. These items can be carried on a person or applied to smaller items such as shoes.

Your ROTH ID TAG order should ship within 1-3 business days, and arrive within 3-5 business days from its ship date, depending on how far away you live from Ohio or North Carolina!

We include 3 emergency contacts to help verify the identity of the child riding in the car seat!

Yes! There is an info line on the back of the tag where a child’s medical information can be placed.

We have been endorsed by thousands of CPSTs (Child Passenger Safety Technicians) and have also partnered with many Safe Kids Coalitions. We take child passenger safety so seriously that our CEO and many team members have actually gotten their Child Passenger Safety Tech Certifications!

Our tag contains less information than your vehicle registration which is required to be in your vehicle. We do not include room for a home address so home safety is not an issue.
