May 4-7| Safe Kids NC | Cherokee, NC

Join ROTH ID TAG at this year’s conference for the opportunity to learn about the latest in risk reduction and injury prevention. 

May 8| Ellis Alliance Association Health & Safety Fair | Ellis, Kansas

Partnering with the Ellis Police Department, Ellis Alliance Association has created a health & safety Fair for local grade school children and families. Students will engage in hands-on activities and lessons around physical and mental health while highlighting ways to navigate the Summer without electronics. 

ROTH ID TAGs will be shared along with meaningful ways to utilize them for proper use and knowledge. 

Join Ellis Alliance Association, Ellis Police Department along with Kansas Highway Patrol, K-State, The Humane Society of the High Plains, and many other organizations coming out to help make this event a possibility and invest in our local youth, increasing safety measures and knowledge in Ellis and surrounding areas.

May 23| County Emergency Medical Services EMS Week Open House | Fertile, MN

County EMS, in Fertile, MN, will be celebrating EMS Week and the culmination the week will be our annual County EMS Open House on Saturday, May 23, 2026 from 11:00am – 2:00pm where you will have the opportunity to meet our team of dedicated EMTs and paramedics who give of themselves every day to alleviate pain and suffering in our service area.

There will be lots of activities for folks of all ages!

Once again, this year, FREE Roth ID TAGs will be available for anyone who needs them

June 20 | Poweshiek County, Iowa Safety Fair- Ready, Set, Safe! | Grinnell, Iowa

Ready, Set, Safe! is a free, family-friendly community safety fair designed to educate and empower individuals of all ages through hands-on learning experiences. The event will take place on Saturday, June 20, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Central Park, Grinnell, Iowa 50112.

This interactive event brings together local partners, including fire departments, law enforcement, public health professionals, Extension educators, and other community organizations, to provide over 15 engaging safety stations. Participants will have the opportunity to learn practical, real-life safety skills through demonstrations and activities such as fire safety, CPR and first aid, bike and ATV helmet fitting, water safety, farm safety, weather science, and a state patrol crash simulator.

The event is designed to increase awareness, build confidence, and promote injury prevention through experiential learning. Families will also receive valuable take-home resources, including helmets, life vests, first aid kits, and educational materials (while supplies last), helping extend the impact of the event beyond the day itself.

Ready, Set, Safe! aims to strengthen community partnerships while promoting a culture of safety, preparedness, and wellness across Poweshiek County and surrounding areas.

Join Wood County Hospital OB Department for a Car Seat Checkup Event! This is a free event to learn how to use and install your child’s car seat or booster seat. If in need of a car seat or booster seats, a limited number of low cost or free seats are available for qualifying families.
